Privacy policy
The Lease Sheet ("we") runs theleasesheet.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Information you give us. When you ask for a full deal or sign up for deal alerts, we collect your name, your email address, and the vehicle you asked about.
- Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of visit) to run and secure the site. Your browser stores a small note on your device that you've already signed up, so we don't ask again.
We do not ask for your phone number, address, ZIP code, credit information or any government ID.
How we use it
- To send you the deal information you asked for.
- To send you lease deal updates and alerts. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To understand which vehicles and deals people are most interested in, in aggregate.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information, and we do not give your name or email to dealers, brokers or manufacturers. We use these service providers to run the site, and they process data only on our behalf:
- Netlify hosts the website.
- Brevo stores our email list and sends our emails.
- Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces; your browser requests them from Google.
We may disclose information if required by law.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time with the link in any email.
- Ask us to delete your information by replying to any email from The Lease Sheet. We'll remove you from our list and our email provider.
- Clear the sign-up note by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Children
This site is for adults shopping for a vehicle. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the effective date above. Significant changes will be announced by email to subscribers.
